As the days get shorter and the evenings darker, our November Hiking Happy Hour was all about adapting, showing up anyway, and finding joy in movement and connection.
We kicked things off with a short hike along the Pipeline Trail in Millcreek Canyon. With early sunset times, this outing was a chance to get comfortable hiking in lower light and leaning into a slightly different rhythm than our summer adventures. Headlamps came out, layers were zipped up, and the trail gave us just enough space to move, chat, and soak in the crisp fall air.
Even though it was a shorter hike, the energy was high. There’s something special about evening hikes this time of year. They feel a little adventurous, a little cozy, and very grounding. It was the perfect reminder that you don’t need a long or intense route to reset your mind and body.
After the hike, we headed to Facíl for dinner, where the real happy hour vibes kicked in. Warm food, great conversation, and plenty of laughter filled the table. It was a chance to unwind, connect beyond the trail, and share stories that don’t always come out while hiking uphill.
November’s Hiking Happy Hour was a great example of what these gatherings are all about. Low-pressure movement, meaningful connection, and making space for community even when life feels busy or daylight is limited.
