1.0   LIABILITY.

In consideration of the opportunity to participate and/or attend the Local G.O.A.T. conducted by Girls Only Adventure Trips, “Company”, I do hereby release, hold harmless and agree not to sue Company or any of the above-mentioned trustees, officers, agents, and employees (collectively “Hosts”),  and discharge all Hosts from any and all claims, responsibilities or liabilities for injury or damages resulting from or arising out of my attendance at, or participation at their Event, whether or not caused by the ordinary negligence of the Hosts.

2.0 PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE.

I understand that I may be photographed or video/audio recorded. I agree to allow my photo, video, voice or film likeness to be used for any purpose by the Hosts or their sponsors and/or assigns in any format of media, now known or later developed. This grant includes the right to edit, mix or duplicate, and to use or re-use the recording in whole or in part as Company may elect.  Company or its designee shall have complete ownership of the recording with no further consideration or compensation due to me and I acknowledge that I have no interest or ownership in the recordings or its copyright. I expressly release and indemnify Company and its officers, employees, agents and designees from any and all claims known or unknown arising out of or in any way connected with the above granted uses and representations.  The rights granted Company herein are perpetual and worldwide. In consideration of all of the above, I hereby give my consent without requiring compensation of any sort.

3.0 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

Limited Use with Attribution. You may use our intellectual property with clear and obvious credit back to our Company/Event using [@GirlsOnlyAdventureTrips or #GirlsOnlyAdventureTrips], as well as correct links or credits back to where the materials, designs, images, text, quote or post can be located. However, you may never claim any of our intellectual property as your own or your original creation, even with attribution. THE GRANDMA TEST: If a grandma saw the content on your site or page, she should understand that the content is NOT yours. If you cannot make the distinction that clear, then please do not use our content in any way.

4.0 FOOD AND ALLERGIES.

Company and its agents and vendors make reasonable efforts to comply with food safety and food handling instructions, but food may contain allergens, gluten or other food sensitivity elements or byproducts and you should consume at your own risk, regardless of labeling or dietary requests. Please ask for more information if you have dietary restrictions.

5.0 TERMINATION AND CANCELLATION.

Company uses its best efforts to be dependable in planning and hosting events, however, if the Event needs to be cancelled for any reason, refunds will be made to all participants within a realistic timeframe.

All cancellations need to be made in writing, submitted to girlsonlyadventuretrips@gmail.com, including the date of cancellation, participant(s) name, date of the adventure trip, and reason for cancellation.

• Adventure Trips:
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will be given as outlined below:

• Local GOATs:
  • No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of event start
  • Cancellations prior to 7 days of event start will receive a full refund

• Hiking Happy Hours
  • No refunds unless event is cancelled by Company 

• Other Event Types
  • Refund information will be on case-by-case basis depending on event costs, brand sponsors, and other variables. Information about refunds and cancellations will be provided during event sign up. 

6.0. MISCELLANEOUS.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with regard to the subject matter and shall supersede any and all other agreements, oral or written, between the parties. Any amendment or modification of this Agreement must be in a signed writing. If any provision of this Agreement, or the application of such provision to any person or circumstance, shall be held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected. This Agreement, including the rights under it, may not be assigned or transferred. Failure of either party to enforce any provision herein shall not be constructed as a general relinquishment or waiver as to that or any other enforceable right under this agreement. This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah,  without reference to other conflicts of laws which might cause the application of the laws of another state. Headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and do not confer rights or obligations, nor alter any terms of this Agreement.

7.0. COVID-19

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious. The state of medical knowledge is evolving, but the virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and/or by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects, and even possibly in the air. People reportedly can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. The exact methods of spread and contraction are unknown, and there is no known treatment, cure, or vaccine for COVID-19. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life threatening illness and even death. Company cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while participating in the Event/Activities. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to participate in the Event/Activities, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

7.1.ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I have read and understood the above warning concerning COVID-19. I hereby choose to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 for myself in participating in the Event/Activities offered by Company. The services of the Event/Activities are of such value to me that I accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 in order to participate.

7.2.  WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/LIABILITY: I hereby forever release and waive my right to bring suit against Company, and its owners, officers, directors, managers, officials, trustees, agents, employees, or other representatives in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to participating in services at the Event/Activities. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and give up any claim I may have to seek damages, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.

8.0 ITINERARY VARIATION: Girls Only Adventure Trips reserves the right to alter the trip due to situations beyond its control. In the event of local holidays and/or weather events, certain listed activities may be affected or unavailable. If cancellation of a scheduled activity is encountered, Girls Only Adventure

9.0 TRAVEL INSURANCE: Girls Only Adventure Trips does not provide or offer travel insurance; however, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to protect your travel plans.

10.0 PARTICIPANTS:

10.1 PARTICIPANT REMOVAL DISCLAIMER: Girls Only Adventure Trips reserves the right to decline or accept any person as a participant should such person’s behavior, health, fitness, or mental condition impede the operation of the Adventure Trip or Local G.O.A.T. event. No refunds shall be given if participant is removed by Company.

10.2 PARTICIPANT ACCEPTANCE: Girls Only Adventure Trip highly recommends potential participants to encourage their friends, mothers, aunts, cousins, sisters, or other female companions to sign up for an Adventure Trip, however we want to ensure the trip is not dominated by any one particular participant group. If any pre-existing group exceeds more than half of the total participant availability, then G.O.A.T. reserves the right to remove participant(s) to accommodate this rule. G.O.A.T recommends that if a group of more than half of the total available participants wants to attend a trip that they contact G.O.A.T. for a possible private tour.

11.0 PAYMENTS

11.1 PAYMENT INCLUSIONS: Pricing includes outlined services in the itinerary. Items of personal nature are not included in the price of the Adventure Trip or Local G.O.A.T., such as, but not limited to, gifts and souvenirs, room service, alcohol, meals not specified in the itinerary, travel insurance, as well as participant travel plans to/from the trip start and end locations.

11.2 DISCOUNTS: The only discount provided by Girls Only Adventure Trips is returning G.O.A.T. Adventure Trip participants receive $100 the total trip price of a future Adventure Trip.

11.3 TIPPING: Tips are not included in the overall trip price. Tipping your Girls Only Adventure Trip guide is not mandatory, but it is a customary practice in the travel industry and the best way to express your gratitude for their dedication and hard work. The industry standard is for each individual guest to tip 10-20% of the trip cost.

11.4 PAYMENT POLICY: Girls Only Adventure Trips accepts all major credit cards, checks, cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

Adventure Trips:

• A deposit of 10% of the trip cost is due upon trip registration confirmation. Deposit amounts and payment schedules are listed on every trip page on the Girls Only Adventure Trip website.
• The balance is due 30 days prior to the trip departure. All participants will receive email reminders leading up to the due date. Payment may be made in installments leading up to the final due date.
• Within 7 days of the trip’s end date, an invoice will be calculated and sent to all participants via email with any remaining incidentals. Payment for remaining incidentals must be made within 7 days of receiving the final invoice, unless otherwise agreed upon by Girls Only Adventure Trips.
• Failure to pay balance in full by the balance due date will result in automatic removal from the trip without refund.
• Do not book any airfare or travel before your trip is confirmed by Girls Only Adventure Trips.
• Girls Only Adventure Trips cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses such as changes to airline tickets, airline upgrades, and/or baggage fees.

Local G.O.A.Ts:

• 100% of the cost of the event is due upon event sign-up
• Should there be any incidentals, an invoice will be generated and sent to participants via email within 7 days of the event. Payment for the remaining incidentals must be made within 7 days of receiving the final invoice, unless otherwise agreed upon by Girls Only Adventure Trips.

12.0 PRIVATE TRIPS: Love your G.O.A.T. trip, but want to go with your own group? We’re happy to work with you on a private trip – whether it is leveraging an existing Girls Only Adventure Trip itinerary or dreaming up a new itinerary to meet your group’s needs. Similar to our Adventure Trips, all participants will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit and a group minimum of 5 is required.

13.0 MEMBERSHIPS: 

13.1. Membership and Enrollment. The GOAT Founding Membership (“Membership”) is limited to 30 members. Enrollment opens November 2, 2026 and closes when all spots are filled. Each Membership belongs to one person and may not be shared, transferred or resold.

2. Fees and Billing. Founding members pay a one-time, non-refundable buy-in of $49, which covers founding member swag. Starting January 1, 2027, Membership continues at $20 per month, billed via Freshbooks invoice automatically on the 1st of each month to the payment method on file, unless the member chooses the annual option of $199, billed once for January 1 through December 31, 2027. By enrolling, members authorize GOAT to charge these recurring fees until they cancel.

3. Cancellation and Refunds. Members may cancel their membership at any time through emailing girlsonlyadventuretrips@gmail.com,hhowever, the term limit is 1 year, so Member would still need to complete payments through the 2027 calendar year. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current membership period, and no partial-month refunds are issued. Memberships are non-refundable. A member who cancels gives up Founding Member status and founding pricing and may not re-enroll as a founding member.

4. Member Benefits. Benefits are described on the GOAT website and may include free Hiking Happy Hours, priority registration, priority waitlist placement, priority access to brand activation events, trip discounts, a Bring a Friend Pass, a member appreciation event and founding swag. Benefit details and limits:

• Hiking Happy Hours: Members receive free Hiking Happy Hours per month. Unused free events do not roll over and have no cash value.
• Priority access: Members may register 48 hours before public registration opens. Priority access does not guarantee a spot. Events have limited capacity and are filled first come, first served.
• Brand activation events: Access is first come, first served, and space may be limited by the hosting partner.
• Trip discount: $50 off one multi-day trip departing in 2027. It cannot be combined with the returning GOAT discount or other promotions, is not redeemable for cash, and expires December 31, 2027.
• Bring a Friend Pass: Valid for one guest who has never attended a GOAT event, for one Hiking Happy Hour, subject to availability.
• Founding swag: Designs may vary from images shown.

5. Changes to Benefits. GOAT may update, replace or discontinue individual benefits, event formats or schedules because of weather, safety, partner availability or operational needs. If a change materially reduces the value of the Membership, GOAT will notify members by email at least [30] days in advance, and members may cancel before the change takes effect.

6. Participation Requirements. Membership does not replace GOAT’s standard participant waiver, which every member must sign before each event. All members must follow GOAT’s code of conduct and the guide’s safety instructions.

7. Termination by GOAT. GOAT may suspend or end a Membership for violating these terms, the code of conduct or safety instructions, or for non-payment. Fees already paid are not refundable if a Membership is ended for cause.

8. Pricing After 2027. Membership pricing and benefits for 2028 and later will be announced before renewal. Members will be notified in November 2027 before any price change so they can renew.

     I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
