The sun was shining, the mountain air was crisp, and the lake? Cold. Just the way we like it.
Our final Alpine Swim Club adventure of the season took us to the dreamy blue waters of Wall Lake in the Uinta Mountains. After a short hike in, surrounded by towering pines and alpine meadows, we reached the water’s edge—ready to soak in the scenery (and the freezing water).
And we mean freezing. But that didn’t stop this fearless crew. We jumped. We screamed. We floated. We laughed until our cheeks hurt. There’s something about jumping into a glacial lake with a group of women who get it—it’s not just about the swim. It’s about presence. It’s about pushing past comfort. And it’s about finding joy in the unexpected.
This final dip was more than a send-off—it was a celebration of every early morning, every shared bottle of water, every cold plunge that turned into a memory.
To everyone who joined us for any (or all) of this summer’s Alpine Swim Clubs: thank you. You brought the courage. You brought the connection. You brought the vibes. And Wall Lake gave us the perfect backdrop to close it out.
