Some hikes are great because of the views. Some are great because of the people. And every once in a while, you get a day that has it all. Yesterday was one of those days.
Our friends at Nani Swimwear outfitted our entire GOAT crew in pieces from their brand new Jackson line of hiking clothes, and let us just say: we have never looked so coordinated on a trail. It was such a fun way to kick off the morning, seeing everyone show up to the trailhead matching, comfy, and ready to move.
We met up early and set off into Millcreek Canyon for a gorgeous morning hike. The canyon delivered, as it always does, with crisp air and that peaceful quiet that makes you forget the city is just minutes away.
We made a stop at the Church Fork creek area to soak it all in and capture a few photos and videos (keep an eye on our socials, because the content from this one is so good). Then we wound our way back down to the trailhead, thinking the adventure was wrapping up.
It wasn’t.
Waiting for us at a nearby picnic site was the coziest setup you could imagine. The Nani team partnered with Perk Energy to surprise our crew with a full picnic spread:
- Charcuterie boards piled high with snacks
- Warm Perk drinks to keep the chill away
- A warm campfire
- S’mores (obviously)
- Fun camp chairs and benches to kick back and stay a while
And stay a while we did! There’s something about sitting around a fire with a warm drink in your hands, surrounded by women who just shared a trail with you, that makes conversation flow so easily. One of our hikers told us she didn’t even want to leave when it was time to go. Honestly? Same.
