This month’s hiking happy hour brought us to the scenic Red Butte Gardens Outer Loop, a favorite spot for both its trails and its stunning natural beauty. Early spring was on full display- crisp air and plenty of sunlight filtering through the trees. The group set off at a lively pace, chatting, laughing, and stopping to soak in the sweeping views of the valley below. Along the way, we celebrated small trail victories, from spotting early wildflowers to navigating a few playful muddy patches, all while taking in the peacefulness that makes Red Butte Gardens so special.
After completing the loop, we headed to Green Pig Pub for the perfect post-hike happy hour. Over hearty bites and refreshing drinks, we shared stories from the trail, laughed at our muddy shoe moments, and celebrated another memorable GOAT outing. These evenings are what make hiking happy hours so unique—combining movement, fresh air, and community in one perfect experience.
Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking to enjoy a trail with good company, this adventure was a reminder of why getting outside is always worth it.
