There’s something special about spending a weekday evening outside with a group of adventurous women, especially when it includes mountain views, waterfalls, and good food afterward.
Last night’s Hiking Happy Hour took us to the beautiful Gloria Falls, and it was the perfect reminder that adventure doesn’t have to wait for the weekend.
The trail gave us everything we could ask for: cool canyon air, wildflowers beginning to bloom, plenty of conversation, and of course, the reward of the waterfall at the end. Whether it was the first GOAT event or the tenth, the energy on the trail was exactly what these evenings are all about: connection, movement, laughter, and getting outside together.
One of the best parts of Hiking Happy Hour is how approachable it is. You don’t need to summit a mountain or spend all day outside to feel refreshed. Sometimes a couple of miles after work with great people is exactly what your week needs.
After the hike, we headed over to Localz Bistro for dinner, where the conversations continued over red beans & rice, burgers, fries, and drinks. By the end of the night, there were new friendships formed, upcoming adventures being planned, and lots of “we need to do this more often.”
That’s what Girls Only Adventure Trips is all about: creating space for women to get outside, try new things, meet new people, and build community one adventure at a time.
Thank you to everyone who came out last night. We loved spending the evening with you and can’t wait for the next Hiking Happy Hour.
See you on the trail soon. 🌲🥾
