There are few better ways to spend a summer evening than on the trail with great company, and last night’s Hiking Happy Hour to Lake Mary was the perfect reminder of that.
We met at Brighton and made our way up the trail as the evening light settled over the mountains. The wildflowers absolutely stole the show, with colorful blooms lining the trail from start to finish. Every turn seemed to reveal another postcard worthy view, making it nearly impossible to keep our phones in our pockets.
Lake Mary greeted us with calm water, cool mountain air, and plenty of time to relax, chat, snap photos, and soak in everything that makes Utah summers so special. These midweek adventures are exactly what Hiking Happy Hour is all about: getting outside after work, moving our bodies, and connecting with an incredible group of women.
Of course, no Hiking Happy Hour is complete without good food afterward. We wrapped up the evening with dinner at Lonestar Taqueria, where tacos, chips and salsa, and lots of laughter were the perfect way to end an already fantastic night.
