If there’s one thing we love, it’s a hike that delivers on both views and vibes and this April Hiking Happy Hour checked every box.
We met up at Tunnel Springs Park for an evening hike out to the Industrial Arch, one of those hidden-gem spots that never disappoints. With golden hour creeping in and the city stretching out below us, it was the kind of setting that instantly makes you slow down and soak it all in.
This group brought such a fun mix of energy. Some familiar faces, some new ones, and that perfect balance of easy conversation and shared adventure. The trail to the arch is approachable but rewarding, making it ideal for a midweek reset. As we climbed, conversations flowed effortlessly, the kind that start with “where are you from?” and somehow turn into full-on life stories by the time you reach the top.
And then, of course, we made it to the Industrial Arch.
There’s something about that spot. Maybe it’s the contrast of the structure against the mountains, or maybe it’s just the feeling of getting somewhere together, but it always feels like a moment. We hung out, snapped photos, cheered each other on, and took in those sweeping views before heading back down.
Because as always, the hike is just the beginning.
We wrapped the night at Red Iguana 2 where the energy carried straight from trail to table. Think margaritas, shared plates, and that post-hike glow that makes everything feel just a little more fun. It didn’t take long before the whole group was deep in conversation, swapping stories, making plans, and already talking about the next hike.
These Hiking Happy Hours are about so much more than miles. They’re about creating space to connect, to unwind, and to build community in a way that feels natural and easy.
