There are few things that feel more like summer than floating down the Provo River with friends, soaking up the sunshine, and ending the evening with good food and ice cream. That’s exactly what we did for our third Alpine Swim Club event of the season.
On Friday evening, our GOAT crew met up with High Country Adventure for a leisurely float down the Provo River. The weather couldn’t have been better. Warm sunshine, cool water, and plenty of laughter made for the perfect way to unwind after a busy week.
One of the things we love most about Alpine Swim Club is that it gives women an excuse to say yes to adventure, even on a workday. Instead of heading home and scrolling through another Friday night, we traded our routines for river views, fresh air, and meaningful connection.
After our float, the fun continued with a riverside BBQ. We gathered around picnic tables, shared stories from the week, and enjoyed great food while the sun slowly dipped behind the mountains. As always, it wasn’t just about the activity. It was about creating space to connect, build friendships, and make memories together.
To finish off the evening, we made a stop for Blue Moo ice cream, because no summer adventure is complete without a sweet treat. Between the river float, backyard-style BBQ, and ice cream cones, it felt like the kind of summer night you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Alpine Swim Club #3. Summer is flying by, but we’re not done yet. We still have more adventures, swims, paddles, and sunshine-filled evenings ahead.
If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is your sign. Grab a spot at an upcoming Alpine Swim Club event and come make the most of summer with GOAT.
